Plakhtii A. Concept ENGLAND verbalization in the Russian Language.

The concept "England" is the object. The purpose is to present comprehensive description of linguistic means which objectivize the concept "England" and to clarify the structure of the concept under consideration. The methods used are structural, contextual, experimental, and descriptive. The thesis deals with concept "England" verbalization study in the Russian language. The concept notion understanding in contemporary linguistics is considered, the general trends of its study in the 20th century cognitology are characterized, and the common signs of the linguocultural concept are enumerated added by its ambivalence. Nuclear and periphery definitions in the philological dictionaries and encyclopedias have been analyzed. Textual implementation of the concept "England" and its subconcepts Englishmen, Englishman, Englishwoman in the Russian literature have been followed. Associative experiment has been carried out. and peculiarities of the concept ENGLAND and its subconcepts perception by respondents have been analyzed. Sphere is the process of education.
