Tashuta V. Antiviral properties of indole-containing condensed tetracyclic compounds in vitro system

The thesis is devoted to the study of antiviral, cytotoxic and toxic properties of 50 new indole-containing condensed tetracyclic compounds. There are data of improving of infectious activity of Aujeszky's disease and porcine transmissible gastroenteritis viruses in the continuous animal cell cultures after storage in lyophilized condition and determination of the optimal solvent of compounds. The maximum permissible concentration of chemical compounds in the continuous animal cell lines SKEV, BHK-21, Vero and SK-6 was established. The ability of substances to antiviral action against two viruses in the system in vitro, using five schemes making connections, was found. We determined the acute and subacute toxicity of promising indole derivatives.
