Kravchun N. Pedagogical views and organizational-methodological activity of Iakiv Chepiha (Zelenkevych) (1900-1938)

The thesis is a comprehensive study in the field of History of Pedagogics which reveals the pedagogical views and organizational-methodological activity of Iakiv Chepiha (Zelenkevych) in 1900-1938. The state of the research on the problem is revealed, its methodological and theoretical orientations are grounded. Content and organizational foundations of cooperation of I. Chepiha with a cohort of native educators - state founders of the beginning of the XX century in defining the ways of development of the national education system are considered. The pedagogical views of I. Chepiha as the creator of the original concept of the national system of education are characterized and organized in accordance with theoretically justified stages (exploratory-educational, publicist-educational, managerial, advisory-methodological). The experience of organizational and methodological work of the researcher is systematized; the expediency of development of the pedagogical heritage of I. Chepiha in modern conditions of updated national education system is proved. The perspective directions of the practical use of pedagogical heritage of I. Chepiha in modern conditions of national education are described.
