Essay

Dissertation is sanctified to the Cossack starshyna of the Nizhyn regiment as to component part of socio-political elite of the Ukrainian Cossack state of the second half of XVII - XVIII century. On the basis of considerable volume of sources, substantial part of which is for the first time entered to scientific turnover, and scientific literature genesis and evolution of starshyna corps of region are found out.
