The thesis devoted to the problem of efficiency improving of vessels operation by using the hydrodynamic method of soil erosion during discharge from the hold of the ship.The thesis main result is development of universal technical system for soil erosion inside the hold’s workspace, which significantly increasing ship operational performance.There were received results improving operational efficiency of dredging vessels by reducing soil unloading time and increase overall working time of ship unloading systems. The process of monitoring and control of soil volume discharge from the ship’s hold was improved and the expression proposed for soil volume calculation that will be unloaded from the ship's hold during the system’s overall period of operation.
