This thesis presents the results of studying important aspects of daily life of the Right-Bank Ukraine village based on the Ukrainian and foreign historiography, and a wide range of authentic sources. The work determines its theoretical and methodological basis which involves the use of both fundamental, general scientific methods and special historical methods and procedures of investigation. The author has analyzed world-views of the Right-Bank Ukraine peasantry on the eve of the national-democratic revolution and determined their influence on the everyday life practice and development of revolutionary consciousness. We have singled out and characterized the processes and phenomena which largely influenced social, political and economic life of Ukrainian provinces at the early stage of the revolution and favored the society tension. The consequences of downfall of the existing political system and its basic institutions, the army demoralization and disintegration which transformed peasants' mood and behavior have been envisaged in this thesis. The influence of the Ukrainian Central Council policy on the peasantry of the region in the agrarian and social spheres have been covered. A number of cases with peasantry deviation behavior as a result of aggravation of social-political crisis and the displaying of peasants' atypical everyday practice have been reconstructed. In our work we considered the place and role of education and school in peasants' daily routine which were determined by the system of value orientation of Ukrainian grain growers (farmers). The key aspects of educational-cultural policy of the Central Council and main hurdles for peasantry to receive education have been pointed out. We have treated some problems of leisure activities of the Ukrainian peasantry within this period and leisure practice of the Right-Bank Ukraine village, which were evoked by the revolution and directed at the politicization of the society.
