An analytical solution of the stability problem of composite toroidal pressure hull under hydrostatic compression, which allows to predict the value of the upper critical pressure taking into account the geometry of toroid, properties of components of polymer composite material, reinforcement scheme and variable thickness, as a result of forming the toroid by winding process, was received. Design analytical procedure of rational in weight and technological relationships composite toroidal pressure hulls in the complex solution of problems of strength and stability under hydrostatic pressure for determining of their design parameters in development stage of the concept of underwater vehicles on the basis of toroidal hull shape has been work out.
