Object: socio-political and ethno-cultural processes in Western Ukraine in the first half of the XX century. Aim: Integrity research of scientific-pedagogical and art history heritage of Ivan Starchuk (1894-1950). Practical value: accumulated factual material, theoretical principles and conclusions may be used in scientific research and educational sphere. Methods: general scientific (deductive, inductive, analysis and synthesis) and special (historical analysis, historical-comparative, chronological, art history analysis, description and comparison).
