The thesis presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the education of children of national minorities in Volyn in the XIX - early XX century. There are found out the theoretical foundations of the process of education of national minorities children in the history and theory of pedagogy; historiography highlights the problems of education in national minorities' schools in Volyn in the nineteenth - early twentieth century; leading grounded preconditions and factors of educational process regarding the minorities' children in Volyn in the period studied. The role of religion as a leading socio-educational institute for minority children in Volyn has been revealed; reasonably content, forms and methods of family education of minorities' children in the period studied has also been investigated as well as the specificity of education in minorities' schools. The work also looks into educational opportunities of folk pedagogy of the Polish, Czech, German and Jewish minorities in the Volyn in XIX - early XX century; reasonably axiological characteristics of parenting national minorities' children in Volyn in the period studied have been examined.
