Volodymyr I. The Contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory in the Patriotic war of 1812.

The thesis served historiographical, spring, and methodological dimensions of scientific discourse on the contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory of the Russian Empire in the war of 1812. Source base of the work includes a variety of materials, which in combination with the predecessors achievements enable you to perform the task. The study used both General and highly specialized methods of scientific historical research. The author clarified the essential characteristics and prerequisites of the war of 1812, which largely determined the attitude of the Ukrainian people in terms of total offensive of the Russian government to the Ukraine from the late eighteenth century, when starts Ukrainian national revival. A prominent place in the work is concerned with the awakening of national patriotism of the Ukrainian people, which was reflected in the formation of the Ukrainian Cossack regiments and militia, the decisive role of the Ukrainian military formations in the expulsion of the French army beyond the Russian Empire. An important role was played by Ukrainians in the partisan movement of the occupied enemy territories of Russia and Belarus. The important role of Ukraine's contribution to the victory of the Russian Empire in the war of 1812 played measures for the defense of Northern borders and security of the Russian Imperial army and military forces with everything necessary. The author clarified that Ukraine occupies one of leading places in the maintenance of the army food and industrial products.
