Object - the process of professional training of future economists; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested technology of forming readiness to prognostic activity by means of information and communication technologies in future economists on the quality of students' prognostic activity readiness forming; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical technology of forming readiness to prognostic activity by means of information and communication technologies in future economists; the term "economist's prognostic activity" is specified as a specific type of professional activity based on the analysis of reliable information, scientifically grounded hypotheses, assessment of existing trends and indices of social and economic processes and phenomena, system of methods and techniques of scientific research directed at finding out the tendencies in the dynamics of a given object or event and search of optional ways for its achievement; the software as well as teaching and methodological support ensuring the implementation of the technology of forming readiness to prognostic activity by means of information and communication technologies in future economists have acquired further study; results - the pedagogical technology of forming readiness to prognostic activity by means of information and communication technologies in future economists has been experimentally tested and is recommended for implementation in the teaching process at higher economic educational establishments. The theoretical ideas and practical data of the research will be helpful to academics during their class and out-of-class teaching activities oriented at training students in their future profession, for working out curriculum and teaching manuals; they will be helpful to students working at course and Master degree papers; field - pedagogy.
