Pastukhova O. Justification of methodical approaches to improving pharmaceutical care for geriatric patients with glaucoma.

For the first time based on our clinical and economic analysis of the estimation of the actual state of pharmaceutical care for patients with glaucoma in Ukraine. According to the analysis of social and epidemiological indicators among old age population, the main directions of improving the health specified category of the population. Based on a systematic analysis of legal, social and economic foundations of pharmaceutical care for population proposed the scientific and methodological approaches to improve the provision of pharmaceutical care for elderly patients by developing recommended list of drugs for the treatment of glaucoma, and recommendations for the organization and functioning of geriatric pharmacies. Scientific generalized and justified approach to improve the efficiency and quality of pharmaceutical care for elderly patients in Ukraine. Proposed to use of the automated algorithm that is designed to monitor the efficiency of pharmaceutical care to patients with glaucoma terms of outpatient treatment.
