This research focuses on the process of formation of professional readiness of civil servants in the management of social projects. Theoretically grounded and practical testing conducted an experimental model of preparedness of civil servants in the management of social projects. The thesis clarifies the content of the basic concepts of research, including "public management of social projects", "social project", "social project management", "design of civil servants" on the basis of which the essence of the phenomenon of "professional readiness of civil servants in the management of social projects". Scientifically substantiated structure revealed state and developed an experimental model of professional readiness of civil servants in the management of social projects.
