Dobynda I. Historical-cultural recreation resources of the Volyn region settlements: social-geographical assessment

Retrospective geographical peculiarities of appearance and development of settlements of the Volyn' region as the temporal and spatial background for the generation of HCRR and its historical and cultural potential are detected. The structure of the HCRR settlements of the region are analysed, and its spatial organization is defined. Spatial hierarchical units of the historical-cultural recreation regioning - historical-cultural point, historical-cultural center, historical-cultural hive, historical-cultural unit, and historical-cultural region are distinguished. The spatial structure of HCRR of the region is described. The historical-cultural recreation territories of the priority development in the Volyn' region and the territories of the biggest concentration of historical-cultural units - the areas of combination of historical-cultural territories of different levels of priority are determined.
