Essay

The thesis presents the materials of epizootic and bacteriological monitoring of swine bacteriosis associated with damage to the gastrointestinal tract of animals, in farms in Ukraine during the period 2010 - 2015. The results of research are shown on the study of the species spectrum of pathogens in microbial associations with mixed course of swine bacterial infections and on the basis of the data made a scientific conclusion on the development of associated vaccine against the most extended swine diseases of bacterial etiology. The research results were conducted to determine the sensitivity of the most common microbial associations and isolates of pathogens to antibiotics, which confirmed the correctness of the chosen direction with respect to the development of means of specific preventive maintenance in order to protect pigs against bacterial diseases. Bacteriological monitoring analysis of swine infectious diseases of bacterial etiology helped with the selection of prospective vaccine strains of microorganisms and designing of experimental sample of associated vaccine "Velshikolisan" against the most extended bacterial diseases of animals. The experimental sample of the vaccine has passed the laboratory quality control and the successful preclinical experimental studies on laboratory animals. High preventive activity of the produced means of preventive maintenance has been confirmed in production conditions practically and documented, its cost-effectiveness and feasibility of in-breeding farms application in Ukraine, and the technical documentation were prepaired.
