Object - the process of future translators' professional competence forming at higher educational establishments; the aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions on the level of future translators' professional competence formation by means of information and communication technologies ; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research is the first to provide a theoretical substantiation of pedagogical conditions of future translators' professional competence forming by means of information and communication technologies and experimentally test their efficiency; the basic terms of the research ("professional competence of future translators", "means of information and communication technologies") are defined and specified; the criteria and indices of the levels of future translators' professional competence formation are analysed; the specific aspects of future translators' professional competence forming by means of information and communication technologies have been investigated and their didactic potential for higher educational establishments has been determined; results - the researched pedagogical conditions of future translators' professional competence forming by means of information and communication technologies have been experimentally tested and are recommended for the implementation within the process of training future translators at higher educational establishments of Ukraine. The practical findings of the research will be helpful to scholars, educators, teaching advisors of foreign language departments at higher educational establishments, they will be useful in teaching " Pedagogy", "Psychology", "Introduction to Teaching Techniques", "Culture Studies", "Culture of Speech", "Introduction to Linguistics", "Informatics", "Modern Ukrainian", "Professionally-oriented Ukrainian", " Introduction to Foreign Philology", "English", " Introduction to Theory and Practice of Translation", "Practice of Translation: English", " Linguistic and Cultural Studies"; the author has worked out and implemented the complex of exercises on " Professional Translation"; field - pedagogy.
