This thesis contains a structured array of Ukrainian periodical pedagogical press dated 1985-2013 (by distribution sphere, constituency, readers targeting) with emphasis on world standards in teacher training. Author developed a periodization of foreign experience in teacher training coverage in Ukrainian pedagogical press dated 1985-2013 in the unity of three stages: 1985-1991 - focus and transformation of tendency-biased analysis schemes of world practices in teacher education; 1991-2000 - direction towards constructive perception of teacher training experience in global educational space; 2000-2013 - active divulgation, in-depth comparative analysis and promoting variative foreign models and technologies of pedagogical education.
