Odudenko V. Organization of work of prosecution bodies in the area of juvenile justice

The thesis is a comprehensive scientific research of theoretical and applied issues of the organization of work of prosecution bodies in the area of juvenile justice. The author has described the connection with scientific programs, the aim, tasks, object and subject of the research, its methodological grounds, theoretical and empiric basis, the scientific novelty of the derived results has been revealed, the main regulations, which are submitted for the defense, have been formulated, the information concerning their approbation has been represented. The formation of the scientific conception and organizational-legal foundation of the activity of prosecution bodies of Ukraine in the area of juvenile justice have been considered in the work; the role and the place of prosecution bodies in the system of juvenile justice have been determined. The essence has been analyzed, the structural elements have been emphasized and the solution of separate problems of the organization of work of prosecution bodies in the corresponding direction of the prosecutor's activity has been offered. The further development, approaches towards the estimation of the work efficiency of prosecution bodies in the area of juvenile justice have also been found in the thesis research. The positive practice of the organization of work of prosecution bodies of those foreign countries, where a special juvenile legislation is functioning, has been showed. The model of the organizational structure of the system of juvenile subdivisions of prosecution bodies has been offered, and it is offered to implement this model through the establishment of a Specialized juvenile prosecutor's office, which will structurally consist of the main board and territorial subdivisions. The main directions, priority measures and procedures, directed to improve the organization of work of prosecution bodies in the corresponding area have been determined. The thesis includes scientifically grounded suggestions concerning the perfection of the legal regulation of the activity of prosecution bodies in the area of juvenile justice through bringing the changes and additions into the functioning legislation and departmental normative-legal acts
