Essay

The thesis investigated and substantiated the main trends in the development of medical education in the educational policy of the European Union; periodization and implemented a reasonable period of medical education in the European Union. An analysis of the stages of development of educational policy in Europe possible to identify common trends: access to higher education, democracy in education management, increasing the number of students and mobility, increasing the duration of training - "Lifelong Learning - Life Long Education", constant updating of curricula and programs, the modernization of means and methods of training, competition between schools, not only locally but also internationally. It analyzed the legal and regulatory documents of the European Union and international organizations on the development of medical education that has shown a gradual weakening of centralized control of the medical industry with the introduction of new, more flexible mechanisms of state control of the quality of training of health professionals, particularly external and internal accreditation of higher medical schools. Tracked changes in the educational policy of the European Union as part of globalization in education. It is proved that Europe will reform the national education system under the direct influence of global trends in the development of education and used to create the legal framework of international standards and declarations. The study identified the preconditions of reforming medical education in Ukraine, which aim to ensure that national policies on continuous education take into account the global trends in the development of education throughout life, socio-economic, technological and socio-cultural changes. The comparative analysis of the modernization of medical education in Ukraine and in the European Union, which shows that the priority role of medical education has always innnovatsiyno developed for human values, and not just for economic gain. The essence and content of regulatory support; identified promising areas using the experience of the European Union in the state's educational policy and the development of medical education in Ukraine.
