On the basis of the study, systematization of historical and educational sources, archival documents the complete analysis of the pedagogical theory was first made and experience of moral education of senior pupils in general education institutions of Ukraine of the period under investigation was generalized; understanding of educational space of moral education of senior pupils was elaborated and refined. The main stages of development moral education of senior pupils in general education institutions of Ukraine (the second half of the twentieth century) were scientifically grounded.
