Essay

The research study of structural and functional changes of myocardium and its vessels of different sex rats under conditions of long-lasting impact of nitrite intoxication. Herewith it was found that mass-metric parameters of parts of non-injured heart muscle, their planimetric and volume parameters dominate in white male rats, but detected equal relative values indicate stability of body-structural homeostasis within this kind of mammals. It was found that in case of nitrite intoxication unequal hypertrophy and dilatation of all cardiac chambers take place, what is accompanied by increase of relative volume of stroma, injured cardiac myocytes, stromal-cardiac myocyte ratios, decrease of capillary-cardiac myocyte ratios and reserve volumes of ventricles, thickening of artery walls, stenosis of their lumen, injuring of endotheliocytes, endothelial lining. Unequal structure-spatial reorganization of coronary arteries of different sex animals under conditions of toxic affection, providing female rats rather than male with better blood flow to microcirculatory bloodstream and as a result better heart muscle trophism was found. Presence of severe correlation connection between relative volume of injured cardio myocytes and concentration of products of lipid peroxidation was detected.
