Stambol I. Ivan L'vovych Lypa in the Ukrainian national movement (late XIX - early 20-ies of XX century)

Object: the life and work of Ivan Lypa. Objective: to determine of the role of I. Lypa in the Ukrainian national movement of the late XIX - early XX century. Methods: biographical, prosopographic, problem-chronological, analytical, descriptive. On the base of archival materials, published sources and literature his life way and medical activity were analyzed. His contribution to the socio-political, literary, book publishing and journalistic activity were defined. His place in the public process of the national revolution of 1917-1921 period as the Commissioner of the city of Odessa, the Minister of Cults and health in the Directory of the UPR government, one of the most active politicians in exile of the Council of the Republic in Tarnow were defined.
