Essay

The thesis is the first complex research in the national historical science, that solves a scientific problem, which is to examine the practices and disclosure features of training engineers and technical personnel in technical universities of Cherkasy region in 1954-1991. The historical conditions for the formation and development of technical universities in the region were determined, the historical dynamics of the formation of a contingent of students was shown, the ways to improve training of professionals within the educational process, organization and improvement of the structure of technical universities of Cherkassy, state and development of their material and technical base were described.
