Vakolia Z. The issue of moral education of children and youth on the pages of educational periodicals in Transcarpathia (1919 - 1939 years)

Within the research the author specifies the peculiarities of moral education of children and youth in the content of vocational educational periodicals in Transcarpathia in 1919 - 1939 and justifies the efficiency of the use of periodicals for moral educational purposes. The author also specifies certain guidelines of the purpose of moral education by means of interpreting them, as well as through the justification of educational process in Transcarpathia by theorists and practitioners on the pages of periodicals. The author determines the characteristics, features and general trends of the actualization of moral and spiritual values by means of educational periodicals in Transcarpathia in terms of socio-political change. The author also specifies the contribution of teachers to the study of the problem of moral education of children and youth and to the promotion of moral values in educational periodicals and studies the conditions of formation of the moral ideal in the educational process on the pages of the regional educational press. The possibilities of using historical experience of spreading of moral aspects of education by means of pedagogical periodicals are suggested.
