Essay

The object of research - the processes of bleaching of wool fibers. The purpose of research - the development of bleaching technologies of wool fiber using electrical discharge nonlinear bulk cavitation to improve the quality and enhance the competitiveness of the finished product. Research methods - analytical methods for evaluating the oxidation-reduction potential of water, microscopic method of research epicuticle of wool fiber, complex of traditional physico-chemical and physico-mechanical methods for determining the quality of the wool fiber, method of scanning electron microscopy, IR-spectroscopy method, spectrophotometric method for evaluating the intensity of colorings, mathematical planning method - rotatable second order planning. The application of electrical discharge nonlinear bulk cavitation as pre-modification process of the wool fiber in the process of bleaching is justified, thus yielding high quality bleached fiber while reducing cost. The effective bleaching wool technologies, including pigmented wool, using electrical discharge pre-treatment of fiber are developed. The effect of the developed technologies of bleaching on the physical and mechanical, chemical and technological properties of bleached fibers is found. Area of the use - textile industry.
