Object of study - life personality elections.Subject of research - psychological characteristics of individual life choices.The aim - to study psychological and empirical research features individual life choices.Research methods. In order to achieve the research objectives and ensure the objectivity of the research life personality in the election used a number of methods, including: theoretical methods allow to compare different points and clarify certain concepts and psychological nature of the phenomenon of individual life choices; Empirical methods: scientific observation, psycho-diagnostic examination, peer review, konstatuvalnyy experiment, methods of mathematical processing of empirical data.The method of psycho-diagnostic examination included a number of specific diagnostic psychological techniques designed to study the main features of life choices, such as: MMPI questionnaire in the modification MMIL FB Byeryezina, MP Miroshnikov, RV Rozhantsya; SACS questionnaire S. Hobfolla adaptation Vodopyanova NE; Multi personality questionnaire "Adaptability" (MLO-AM) developed by AG Maklakov and S. Chermyaninym; questionnaire that included questions about sociodemographic status (age, place of birth, residence, cohabitation, education level, marital status, number of children in parent family, birth order, presence of children) and a questionnaire containing questions about the features professional activity (post unit length in this section, the overall experience, the experience of parents in the internal Affairs), the question of the attitude to work and the reason for choosing the profession of police.For statistical data selected by a computer program SSPS v11.5 for Windows package from the calculation of the coefficients of correlation, standard indicators PR (percentile), t-Student's test and others.Scientific novelty of the results for the first time: The basic subjective and social factors of the individual life choices (interest, calling advice parents or friends, fame, career, relationships, developing abilities and skills, indifference, lack of choice); Created chotyryklasternu life model personality elections subjective factors (reactive selection, external influence cognitive self, emotional self-determination); Built a two-cluster model performed by the individual life choices ( "Timely elections of life" and "Deferred vital elections" personality); The main indicators characterizing the elections made life (life choices concerning higher education, marriage and having children); Identified and justified individual psychological conditions different life choices of the individual; Proved vital role in ensuring the elections adaptive capacity of the individual; Supplemented by the concept of "life strategy of choice" in the dichotomy of "feasibility - problematic";had received further development concept "choice situation," "life choices of the individual", "strategy life choices of the individual." Practical value obtained in the dissertation research results is that it formulated and psychologically reasonable ways to improve decision professional tasks provided proposals that will enhance the effectiveness and professional development of employees of the National Police of Ukraine.
