Object of research: professional growth of manager's personality.Subject of research: psychological conditions of development of motivation for professional growth of manager's personality.Research methods. Theoretical: An analysis of the psychological literature, carried out to determine the state of elaboration of the research problem; comparison, analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, classification, modeling, which were used to determine the conceptual foundations of the research of psychological conditions of development of motivation for professional growth of manager's personality.Empirical: interviews, questionnaires, tests. In order to collect biographical data about respondents as well as the characteristics of their career the specially designed socio-demographic questionnaire was created. For diagnostics of motivational components the Directions of Personality Inventory by B. Smekal, М. Kucera and Motivation Questionnaire by V.K. Herbachevsky was used. For self-assessment - self-assessment technique based on R.B. Cattell 16PF was used. For research of the personality structure of values and the relationship between the parameters of "value" and "accessibility"- technique "The level of correlation of values and the availability in various spheres of life" by A.B. Fantalova (modification by N. Salikhova), for research of the personality unconscious - the Szondi test and Wartegg drawing test, for research of the career orientations - technique by Schein's Career Orientations Inventory in the modification by A. Zhdanovich to assess the professional competence - expert assessment. Mathematical statistics: calculation of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis (r Pearson), regression analysis (simple linear and multiple linear), principal component analysis, non-parametric analysis of variance using the Kruskal-Wallis H-test, Cramer association V-test, exploratory factor analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple categorical regression analysis. For evaluation of the effectiveness of summative assessment program paired samples T-test and independent samples T-test were used. Mathematical analysis of the empirical data was performed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0.0 and the R 3.2.3 statistical software packages. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the study.firstly: the model was created and the structure of motivational potential of the managers was determined, in which the motivational components of the system are in a relationship with a potential of personality and also are characterized by hierarchical ubordination; characteristics of the integrative relations of motivational components with unconscious and conscious components of manager's personal potential were identified;- understanding of the socio-demographic and individual-personality features of the managers taking part in shaping his career were expanded and refined; the data about the role of environmental and personal prerequisites for the formation of professionally important competencies of manager, namely, the positive impact of active, intentional trends unconscious for career promotion were supplemented; the exceptional importance of factors of motivation for professional growth of managers was disclosed, such as: competitive motives, volitional efforts, assessment of the level of progress, assessment of their own capacity, the planned level of mobilization, the expected level of the result, initiative. The practical significance of the study is the creation of predictive model of professional competence of the manager. The model is formalized by means of a computer program "Atlanta staff." The great practical importance also has the developed training program for motivation of career and professional growth of managers. The proposed set of special measures can be applied to produce an integrated program of formation of professional growth of managers in terms of work in the organization. The research materials used in teaching courses "Organizational Psychology", "Psychology of management", "General Psychology", "Social Psychology", "Socio-psychological practical course", "Psychology of motivation" in universities as an element of psychological education and psychological training.Scope institutions of higher education, psychological services.
