Essay

The thesis is devoted to justification, development and experimental verification of structural and content model of value orientations of students of pedagogical specialties to physical culture for creation organizational conditions for the correction of the educational process of physical training in higher educational institutions. We determined limiting and stimulating factors in the formation of value orientations to physical culture in students of pedagogical specialties. Limiting factors are theoretical preparedness, health and motivational settings both for learning and success, and to the physical training and sports. Stimulatory factors are axiological factor, orientation to healthy lifestyle, image of physically cultured personality, communication, taking into account the interests of students to sports and physical exercises as well as support gaming traditions of Ukrainian people. The structural and content model of formation of value orientations to physical culture was implemented into the process of physical education of the experimental group composed of female students from the Faculty of Philology. It was found that those students enriched their motor experience of folk physical culture through the acquiring knowledge and skills in using of folk games in professional and independent activities (intellectual and spiritual impact). Concerning the physical impact on female students from the experimental group the following changes were observed: strengthening of health (from low level it became average), dynamics in the development of physical qualities (especially strength abilities), and increase of motor activity in independent training.
