Bachynska O. Development of the performance arts of the Ukrainian State of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky: historical aspect.

The dissertation is devoted to the historical aspect of development of the performance arts of the Ukrainian State of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky. In particular, it shows the directions of the state policy concerning the performance arts and the ways of realization of it. It is emphasized that development of the Ukrainian theatre, cinematograph, musical and chorus art was one of the main directions of the state policy of regime of Hetman P. Skoropadsky. Plans concerning the creation of the Ukrainian cultural and art institutions, associations and establishments for preparation of professional workers of the Ukrainian performance arts were initiated and supported on the state level. It is noticed that the cultural and propagandist activity of the occupational German and Austro-Hungarian administrations which had been using the resources of theatre, music and cinematograph during the whole period of staying on the Ukrainian territory had influence on the cultural and spiritual life of the Ukrainian State. It also clarifies the way the local authorities and self-government affected the subjects of the performance arts through giving of special permissions for conducting of the cultural and educational and art measures, opening of the cultural and art establishments; through control of taxes income; through rental and contractual relations etc.
