Object of research: leisure activity of subject.Subject of research: Psychological features of subject's leisure activity as a factor of recreation activity of personality.Research methods. Theoretical: Analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, abstraction, classification, systematization, analogy, modeling, forecasting, which were used to summarize the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of subject's leisure activity, its recreational activity in the club and entertainment communities, the role of leisure activity in providing psychological well-being of the personality.Empirical: interviews, observation, questioning, testing. In order to collect biographical data about respondents used a specially designed questionnaire. For the diagnosis of personality structure, participated in leisure activities multivariate Freiburg Personality Inventory FPI (J. Fahrenberg, R. Hampel, H Selg) was used. For research of the accentuations of personality traits of the subject of leisure activities the Leonhard - Schmischek Questionnaire (K. Leonhard, G. Schmischek) was used. For research of the need-motivational sphere of the respondents the Method of Actuality of Basic needs by Maslow - the method of paired comparisons (VV Skvortsov, modified by IA Akindinova) was used, for research of different areas of psychological well-being The Ryff Scales of Psychological Well-Being (C. Ryff, adaptation by NN Lepeshinskii) was used. To study the specific features of the subject's leisure activity the author's Leisure Activity Questionnaire was created and psychometrically adapted.Mathematical statistics: calculation of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis (Pearson r correlation coefficient, canonical correlation rc coefficient), cluster analysis, one-way and multi-way analysis of variance, regression analysis (simple linear and multiple linear), exploratory factor analysis, structural equation modeling. As the psychometric characteristics of the scales and questionnaires the calculation of internal consistency by Cronbach's ? criterion was performed. Mathematical analysis of the empirical data was performed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0.0, IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0.0 statistical software packages.The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of obtained results lies in that firstly: the operationalization of the construct of subject's leisure activity that consisted of five components: inclusion, masculinity-femininity recreational behavior, communicative activity in leisure, leisure activity of the individual, the money factor was carried out; the integral model of implementation of the individual needs and achievement of psychological well-being through leisure activities was proved, and its empirical verification was developed; the psychological characteristics of the subject of leisure activity distinguishing it from people who choose traditional methods of recreational activity was established on a theoretical and experimental levels; the socio-demographic segmentation criteria for subjects integrated into the club and entertainment subculture were found and the impact of these criteria on the relationship between individual psychological characteristics of the personality on specifics of leisure activities was established; the significance of subject's leisure activity in club and entertainment subculture as prerequisites of the transformation of frustrated needs of personality to the psychological well-being; ideas about the place of recreational activity in the structure of the subject of leisure activity were further developed.The practical significance lies in the fact that for the first time created a Leisure Activity Questionnaire, which is a reliable and valid psychodiagnostic tool. This will expand the methodological arsenal of local psychologists and allows extensive use of the Questionnaire in psychodiagnostic practice. High importance has the possibility of extrapolating the findings to other types of leisure activity.
