Essay

The object of research - the energy conversion process in the traction electric high-speed linear motor. Research methods - mathematical and physical modeling, analysis and synthesis using the Fourier series, the direct measurement and numerical analysis of the results, the experimental research. Resolves an actual scientific problem - a substantiation of effective principles and methods of calculation of rational parameters of the traction linear motor with permanent-magnet high-speed electric vehicles. The possibility to further develop the engineering method of calculating these engines. In the case of the release sources of the constant field with known Fourier coefficients, the engine design is reduced to the estimated size of the variations of road coils and their mutual arrangement and location relative to the excitation system. Basic theoretical and practical results obtained in the work can be used by enterprises projecting linear motors with excitation from sources of static magnetic field, and scientists to develop an engineering method for calculating such engines.
