In the thesis the content development of higher historical education in Ukraine in 1945 - 1991 years is studied on the basis of a wide range of archival sources and published materials. The degree of scientific development themes in historical and pedagogical literature is studied. It was established that today in the Ukrainian historiography the problem of higher historical education content wasn't the subject of comprehensive scientific research.
