Biletskіy P. Foreign Enterprise in Podilska Province (1861-1917).

It has been for the first time comprehensively investigated and generalized - on the example of a region Podilska Province - the process of formation and development of foreign business in 1861 - 1917. The study of foreign economic activity of entrepreneurs and professionals on the territory of Podilska Province is important not only in terms of understanding the laws of historical process, but the realities of modern life. The critical state of Ukraine's economy, its reforming update the study of the historical experience of development of market relations in some regions of Ukraine, including the specifics of foreign business on Podillya in the second half of XIX - early XX, behavior and economic initiative of foreigners in industry, agriculture, trade, transport etc. Comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic structure of the Podillya region will help simulate the prospects for its development, including production and non-production infrastructure. In the thesis it has been analyzed the dynamics of the level, especially economic migrants settling in the region, and identified social and ethnic composition of foreign entrepreneurs, legal principles of entrepreneurship and promoting factors and inhibition of development. The main stages of development of foreign business in Podilska Province have been discovered and described. The trends of foreign business in the system of factory production in urban areas have been shown; participation of foreigners in the agricultural sector has been investigated. The features of foreign enterprise in terms of disposal laws during the First World War have been described.
