RUDNITSKYY S. Models and methods of projects configuration management

This thesis addressed the actual scientific and applied problem of determining the boundaries, goals, objectives, role and place of the project configuration management process, description of the project consistency support mechanism through the development of conceptual and mathematical models of the process, the theoretical justification of the project configuration management methods, as well as the development of a technique of choosing the rational design of the process. Configuration management field terminological system structure was justified and formation approach of that system was suggested. Definitions of key terms were specified. The project consistency support mechanism was suggested. Project configuration management process conceptual model based on that mechanism was developed. The mathematical models of the project and its configuration management process were developed. Based on those models the effectiveness criteria evaluation methods of the project configuration management were developed. Based on the developed methods the technique of choosing the rational design of the project configuration management process was developed.
