In the dissertation for the first time in history of the Ukrainian journalism peculiarities of publishing periodicals of the concern «Ukrayinska Presa» [«The Ukrainian Press»], whose activities were initiated and organized in the interwar Galicia by the publisher and editor I. Tyktor, have been comprehensively examined. A retrospective of foundation and development of the periodicals, conditions of their appearance, objectives, structure, architectonics, content have been studied and a circle of editors, journalists, authors of these periodicals has been established.
