Object - the process of professional training of future primary school teachers at higher educational establishments; the aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions on the future primary school teachers' readiness to develop positive learning motivation in pupils; methods - theoretical, empirical, of qualitative and quantitative analysis; novelty - the research is the first to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of training future primary school teachers to develop positive learning motivation in junior pupils; the definition of the notion "primary school learners' positive learning motivation" is specified; the essence of future primary school teachers' readiness to forming positive learning motivation in children is analysed; the forms and methods of training primary school department students at higher educational establishments have undergone further research; results - the researched pedagogical conditions have to be considered in training future primary school teachers at higher educational establishments and in school teaching process; the teaching course "Motivating primary school learners to learning" has been worked out and implemented in higher educational establishments and institutions of post-diploma education, the aim of the course is to raise the level of professional theoretical and methodological knowledge of students and form future teachers' professionally relevant skills of positive learning motivation development in primary school learners. The programme of tasks to be fulfilled during the pedagogical practice has been worked out. The materials and data of the research will be helpful for modernizing teaching courses on Pedagogy, Didactics, Methodologies of teaching specific disciplines at educational establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation, for working out teaching manuals for future primary school teachers, for renewal of teaching course curriculum at higher pedagogical educational establishments of different levels of accreditation ; field - pedagogy.
