The thesis deals with the complex analysis of realization of American public schools students' character education. The analysis of character education preconditions in the American school system is represented. The main stages of character education development in American public schools, as well as its content, goals, forms and methods at the current stage are investigated. The peculiarities of American teachers' professional training for Character education program implementation in the educational practices, out-of-class, and out-of-school activities are highlighted.
