Essay

The thesis uncovers the theoretical and methodological principles of adaptive study of tourism. The scientometric analysis of a large amount of native and foreign interdisciplinary publications on "adaptive-disability" questions is carried out. Based on proposed analysis, adaptive tourism concept is improved, which we consider as part of the national tourism, it's a special kind, which is a significant factor in rehabilitation for relatively healthy seniors on the one hand and people with disabilities on the other. The classifications of adaptive tourism, taking into accent is the physical restrictions on nosology of disease and disability categories is improved; three main groups of tourists with special needs are identified. The structure - logical model of adaptive tourism, which exposes the structure of geospatial adaptive tourism organization and its functional and territorial structure peculiarities is elaborated. The factors (natural-geographic, socio-demographic, culture-historical and ethnolandscape, politic-institutional and infrastructure) and their influence on the formation and development of adaptive tourism in regions of Ukraine. The features of prospective adaptive tourism target group are revealed.
