Lukyanchuk E. Territorial organization of housing and utility services in Zhytomyr region

The thesis is devoted to the housing and utility services sector of the region and specifics of its territorial organization, and presents the theoretical and methodological basis for the study. It reveals the principles and factors that determine the development and disposition of the services in the region. We undertook the factor analysis of development of the housing and utilities in Zhytomyr region. It considers the influence of demographic situation, settlement system, technical and technological, and economic factors on the formation of housing and utilities. The specifics of their structure and territorial disposition in Zhytomyr region are found. The basic problems and general principles for reforming the housing and utilities are outlined. We demonstrate the positive role of clustering as a major factor for the improvement and develop perspective directions for territorial organization reformation of the housing and utility services in Zhytomyr region.
