Essay

The thesis is devoted to the complex research of socio-communicative dimension in ensuring information security against the background of the rapid development of information and communication technologies. The author examines the transformation of information and communication from a tool to transfer knowledge from one generation to another to an effective mechanism of influence public opinion and society of a state to achieve specific goals. It is confirmed that the information security of the state is increasingly dependent on on the variety of technologies, wide access to them and features of their use. The role and impact of socio-communicative dimension is shown on the basis of the specific communication model of the author. As particular elements of this model, one should single out a wide range of social communicators of a communication process, namely, civil society; mass media; Professional Media Groups - groups (community), united by a common profession / interests; media personalities - people who use the information field to serve their private interests at the level of the media; state. It was noted that the mentioned communicators may act both as objects and subjects of influence.
