Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the decision of range of problems of interpretations of folk traditions in the design of child’s clothing in Ukraine of the second half of 20th – to beginning of 21st century. The processes of development and becoming of professional and amateur design of clothing for children in Ukraine are analysed, activity of houses of models of child's clothing and sewing enterprises is considered in 60s–80s of 20th century, work of leading artists-designers of child's clothing, collections of child's festive and everyday clothing, marked by folk stylistics, their general and local artistic features predefined by the sources of creative inspirations are investigated.
