Essay

The purpose of the dissertation is to design LNG carriers, which carry the liquefied natural gas by sea. An optimization problem for determining the main dimensions of LNG carriers was formulated. The LNG carrier mathematical model was improved. The main ship operations, possible emergencies during operations and the influence of random factors on the economic performance of LNG carriers were studied using the theory of random functions and the simulation modeling method.
