Essay

The object is the information space and the system of mass media related to sporting events lighting. The aim is the identification and analysis of functional-typological features of sports media communications. The methods are typological, genetic, structural and functional analysis, content analysis. The thesis carried out a comprehensive study of the media and sport relationship, the main functional and typological features of the sports media communications are highlighted. The interaction of different types of media (press, radio, television, new media) and modern sports was shown, special attention is paid to new media. Also, the process of brand creation based on the image and reputation of the athletes and sports clubs, the peculiarities of sport use in advertising were revealed. Application sphere is the training courses.
