Essay

The thesis presents the theoretical generalization and practical decision of the important and actual task to form a professional image of the future elementary school teacher in the process of psychological and pedagogical subjects teaching; the content of the key concepts of the study: "image", "professional image of the teacher of primary school", "image competence" is presented in the investigation. The professional image formation of primary school teachers is presented as a single, stable teacher's portrait in minds of pedagogical interaction participators, which is created to achieve the subject-prototype of professional and personal goals. It is proved that a key condition of the professional image of the teacher is the situation of interaction between image keeper's (elementary school teacher) and the audience for which it is designed (of educational interaction). The image-competence of future teachers of elementary school is defined to be the result of the formation of professional image of the teacher in terms of higher pedagogical educational institution, which is distinguished as a complex component structure formation in the personality of the future specialist that integrates into a single unit of image creating motives and values of the teacher, the system of knowledge about the image of the mechanism and conditions effective formation and skills image creating activities professionally meaningful and reflective future teachers' quality, providing the ability to create a positive image of the teacher in terms of the immediate educational interaction. The obtained results of the investigation within the experiment confirm the effectiveness of the experimental model and pedagogical conditions of future elementary school teachers' professional image formation in the psychological and pedagogical disciplines teaching, which proves the authenticity of the hypothesis and suggests the goals of solving and defined objectives.
