Liksunova L. Primary focal segmental glomerular sclerosis: clinical, laboratory, morphological characteristics and treatment

The dissertation presents the results of a retrospective and prospective study of patients with primary nephrotic syndrome and FSGS. The effectiveness of different approaches to the treatment of morphological variants of FSGS was established, predictors of efficiency were identified. Indications for differentiated treatment of primary FSGS were created to significantly increase its effectiveness. Positive prognosis in patients with FSGS with nephrotic syndrome is determined: age 16-29 years, the treatment of GC and a pulse-dose cyclophosphamidum, variant «tip» FSGS, glomerular minimal change, absence or presence of hypertension I stage, the time prior to the appointment of treatment no more than two months. Effectivenes does not depend on sex, GFR, a daily loss of protein, the presence of tubulointerstitial and vascular changes according to nephrobiopsy.
