Sasiuk A. Peculiarities of the diagnostic and surgical treatment of the congenital pectus carinatum in children.

Object - congenital pectus carinatum (CPC); goal – improve the results of treatment of children with CPC through improved diagnostics, which is based on a method anglemetry sternum and parasternum sectors and surgical treatment of diseases due to reconstructive non-resection front thoracic plastic; methods – clinical, somatometric, laboratory, instrumental, functional, questionnaire, physical and mathematical, statistical analysis; results – the first time of defined the angles of deflection of the sternum and parasternum sectors for children of different age groups, depending on the type of body composition in normal and CPC; found that with age in healthy children figures anglemetry sternum and parasternum sectors, boys and girls alike, are not changed; with new scientific positions evaluated physiological indicators data anglemetry sternum and parasternum sectors on the basis of which improved diagnosis and assessment of treatment of children with CPC; it proved the possibility of the application of physical and mathematical modeling of processes occurring in children CPC correction for optimal control method to eliminate disease; justified by new approaches to surgical treatment of children with CPC, put into practice a less invasive way to the non-resection front thoracic plastic; proved the feasibility of the proposed method for the surgical treatment of children with CPC, analyzed and evaluated its clinical efficacy in the immediate and remote observation dates; branch – medicine.
