The thesis deals with the analysis of specificity of modern quality assurance system of the university education in Austria based on the historical and pedagogical research. Analysis of quality assurance system of the university education in Austria in the context of European integration transformation has been made. Theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the process of quality assurance of the university education in Austria have been highlighted; theoretical works of home and foreign specialists as well as different research findings of the problem have been systemized; historical documents, scientific and pedagogical literature have been analyzed.
