Object - Object – metaepiphyseal osteomyelitis; goal – improve the results of treatment of children with osteomyelitis metaepiphyseal through the development of new methods of diagnosis, treatment, and identify the main stages of medical rehabilitation; methods – anthropometric, clinical, biochemical, cytology, microbiological, radiation, experimental, histological, morphometric, statistical; results – based on the results of experimental studies expanded scientific understanding of high bactericidal efficacy and lack of toxicity in the tissue of the knee joint of the drug based on oktenidine dihidrochloride in a 1: 4; supplemented by scientific data on the method of early diagnosis of osteomyelitis in children metaepiphyseal through ultrasound of the joints, soft tissues and bone 3.5-7.5 MHz linear transducers in 1-3 hours from the onset of illness and rehabilitation of osteomyelitis focus with the joint puncture from two points using a preparation based on oktenidine dihidrochloride diluted 1: 4; first defined the indications for the use of oktenidine dihidrochloride and proved its effectiveness in the treatment of inflammatory lesions in the early stages when metaepiphyseal osteomyelitis in children, as evidenced by a decrease in the number of complications in the MEO from 26.9% to 18.75%, the number of unsatisfactory results of treatment with 14.9 % to 0% and the duration of stay in hospital treatment with 11,50 ± 0,74 to 9,03 ± 0,92 bed days (p <0,05); medicine; branch – medicine.
