In the course of research carried out in the thesis, resolved to date scientific and technical objectives of the study - the development of methods to increase the efficiency of operation of navigable sluices in operation, the use of which provides a predetermined level of technical reliability gateways and minimum cost system maintenance and repair. To do this, the thesis developed a model of increasing the efficiency of operation of navigable sluices on the basis of a set of methods of improving the mechanical equipment of the main gateways and methods to increase bandwidth shipping locks; improved: a method of increasing the functionality of flat closures, which in contrast to the known into account static and dynamic coefficients of friction materials, resilient and highly elastic deformation of the oils, the behavior of sliding bearings with combined contour seals; a method of increasing the functionality of double gates, which in contrast to the known takes into account the friction that occurs when the pattern of the heel unit, the recrystallization process that occurs in the material of the anti-friction material and the direction of the total load, which is distributed on two spherical half portion of the heel of the device; a method of increasing the functionality of floating lifting eyes, which, unlike the known anti-friction takes into account the wear rate of the material supporting skids.
