The thesis is devoted to defining the features of formation of structure and topography of the upper jaw during the perinatal period of human ontogenesis. Chronological sequence of changes of organometric parameters of structures of the upper jaw, their ratio with sizes of face and skull during fetal and early neonatal periods were found. Was refined classical data about the formation and transformation of space-time structures of maxilla of human, fetuses and newborns. For the first time were traced the dynamics of changes of organometric parameters of the upper jaw and were identified periods of intense and sustained growth of the upper jaw during the fetal period of human ontogenesis. Was investigated the correlation of relationship of organometric parameters of the upper jaw with the size of the face and skull in the perinatal period of ontogenesis. Direct correlations between the parameters of the upper jaw, face and skull and parietal-heel length of the fetus were found, which determines the rate of change organometric parameters of the upper jaw and fetal biological processes in general.
